It is 5 minutes drive from Quillan (which has a range of shops, supermarkets, restaurants, a cinema, theatre, outdoor public swimming pool, as well as climbing, white water rafting and an adventure area with a path made from ropes hung between trees). Lets Rent in France is in the quiet hamlet of Laval (Hameau de Laval), surrounded by beautiful countryside, including miles of walks through the mountains and woods.

The house for rent also includes a large storage room, which is ideal for storing excess furniture for a long term rental.

There are many local attractions, including a dinosaur museum in Esperaza, plus a thriving Sunday market also in Esperaza, a thermal spa at Rennes-les-Bains and the mysterious village of Rennes le Chateau. The nearest airports are Carcassonne (40km away from Laval and Quillan) and Perpignan (55km away).
